David Adjaye – Collaborations: A portrait of the architect through the eyes of others

Wednesday, April 11, 5:15 pm, Campbell Hall 153

Directed by Oliver Hardt

2015, 50 minutes, Germany/UK/US

The film features interviews with Adjaye´s collaborators, a roster of influential figures in the art and cultural world as well as a significant number of his architectural projects over the past 15 years. The collaborators—artists, curators and writers, most of them interviewed ‘on site’—give creative insights into Adjaye’s buildings, while offering a highly personal perspective on their particular collaboration.

Sir David Adjaye is the 2018 Thomas Jefferson Foundation Medalist in Architecture and will be giving a public talk on April 13 at Old Cabell Hall at UVA.

Presented in collaboration with the UVA School of Architecture.
