Open Hours allow you to use The Corner Studio without booking in advance or being constrained by a specific meeting focus--you can simply drop in and work, study, or meet. This open-endedness allows for new, exciting interactions between students, faculty, and others who wish to share in an experience of ingenuity and boundlessness. Interactive technologies and inviting spaces are available at your disposal, providing a platform for students, faculty, staff, and the community to collaborate and uncover new creative paths. We ask that you check our events calendar in advance, as scheduled programs may be taking place that will decrease the amount of space available for drop-in work.
Open Tables at the Corner Studio provide a space for faculty, professionals, visiting speakers, and students to share their expertise and with a diverse group of participants. Lasting 1-2 hours, these discussions are open to the UVA and Charlottesville community and stimulate interdisciplinary conversation beyond the university classroom. We are always looking for new hosts and partners.
